The Milestone Therapy building itself, located in downtown Highland, Indiana. It was purchased in 2013 from the Girls Scouts of America.  It houses their main business offices as well as one of the best equipped pediatric facilities in the greater Chicagoland area. Services offered include physical, occupational, and speech therapy. We accept almost all forms of insurance, including Indiana Medicaid.

The clinic features a large and a smaller gross motor gym; both with swing mounts, climbing equipment, slides, trampolines, and various other balance and mobility devices. In addition to the two gyms, we feature numerous treatment rooms for evaluations and ongoing sessions often used by our speech and occupational therapists for feeding and fine motor activities, as well as a Snoezelen-inspired sensory area for our clients. Several of the treatment rooms offer viewing spaces for parents to observe the sessions. Milestone features a large craft room for sensory play and seasonal activities as well.

Milestone therapists are highly trained in providing quality care for children ages birth – 21 years old with various diagnoses ranging from developmental delay, Down syndrome, cerebral palsy, sensory processing disorder, apraxia, and much more. Some of the treatments we offer include: feeding therapy, therapeutic listening, kinesiotaping, and sensory integration skills.

The Highland clinic also offers Respite Nights monthly for parents and caregivers to take a breather and have some time for themselves.  The kids have a great time with both peers and their siblings under the watchful eye of trained professionals.

We have also partnered with Midwest Orthotics to offer a clinic at our facility once a month. Midwest Orthotics is able to see patients by appointment at the Highland location to service their current orthotics or evaluate for new orthotic devices as needed.
