Breana
R.

Breana graduated from Saint Xavier University in 2019 with her Bachelor’s in Communication Sciences and Disorders. In addition, she graduated from Illinois State University in 2022 with her Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology. She spent her time completing clinical placements (educational and medical) in the Bloomington-Normal and Peoria areas, working primarily with the pediatric population. In her free time, she enjoyed going to the park and trying out different ice cream places with her fiancé! Breana has always shown interest in working with pediatrics in both school and private practice settings during her time at Illinois State. She has worked with children in daycare centers since beginning her undergraduate career and has loved every second of it! She is excited to begin working as a pediatric speech pathologist as she loves how enthusiastic and motivated kids can be to work towards making gains. An interesting fact about Breana is that she was diagnosed with an Auditory Processing Disorder when she began college and feels that this has helped her form a better connection with her clients! She hopes to continue to be able to share with her future clients that she knows what it feels like to be on the other side of the table.
