Eloise (“WeezE” to those who know her) graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2003 with a B.A. in Spanish. Eloise has always loved working with young children. She worked as a nanny during her college years. In 2010, she earned an M.S.Ed. in Elementary Education from Northern Illinois University. She worked as a bilingual elementary school teacher in Chicago Public Schools from 2008 – 2018 before pursuing a career in Speech Language Pathology. Eloise earned her M.H.S. in Communication Disorders from Governors State University in 2020. She volunteered at a Halloween event at Milestone Therapy in 2016 and was delighted with the energy there. The atmosphere was very friendly and team-oriented, and Eloise loves to be a part of a team! She loves to travel to new countries and has studied and taught in Spain. She has also done volunteer work in Nicaragua and Panama. Eloise’s fun fact is that she is a “thrill-seeking, word-nerd foodie.” Give her some good food (especially breakfast) and a few crossword puzzles before taking her to a waterpark and plunging down the steepest slide, and you’ve got a friend for life!
