Geraldine

Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA)

Geraldine graduated from Olivet Nazarene University in 2021 with a bachelor’s in Biology. While pursuing her undergraduate degree, Geraldine worked in Early Childhood Education for 5 years, where she found pure joy and purpose in working with children, leading her to pursue a career in pediatric therapy. Geraldine graduated as an Occupational Therapy Assistant from Fox College in 2024 and joined the Milestone Therapy team soon after graduation. Geraldine’s passion for working with this population was amplified by her experiences during her pediatric clinical rotations; she was particularly motivated by the emotional honesty of children and the pure excitement on their faces when they succeed in a new task.

In her spare time, she enjoys caring for her plants, trying recipes from different countries, pottery, and 3-D art. Fun facts: Geraldine, along with a friend, created a paper mache dinosaur and placed 1st for the individual/family category at the yearly Scarecrow Hollow Contest in Bourbonnais, IL. Geraldine is also bilingual! (English/Spanish)
