Serena graduated from Kaplan College in Hammond, IN., with a degree in business. She entered the healthcare profession 12 years ago where she spent her first 8 years at Franciscan Alliance, gaining experience in billing, coding, collections, and denials. Serena was later able to apply her knowledge and skills to become a Finance Administrator at One Source OHS, where she managed various vendor accounts.
Serena was promoted to Billing Manager at Milestone in 2022, where she now leads her team with a singular focus. With her deep knowledge of EMR systems and dedication to task, Serena is the perfect person for this unique job that involves a department responsible for billing with clinic based, school based, and home based services. Serena is happily married and has a beautiful daughter, who she loves spending time with whenever she can!
