Growing up with a cousin who has Down syndrome, Mandi was always fascinated by the special needs population. She became involved with the Illinois Early Intervention Program in 2006 after graduating from Illinois State University with a degree in Psychology. Mandi’s Service Coordinator position in the Illinois Early Intervention program was a perfect first step in her career, providing her with a role that taught her many useful skills for both the professional and special needs world. Mandi states, “On a personal side, it made me feel I was actually making a small difference in the families’ lives on my caseload. Seeing the children meet their milestones after therapy was my biggest reward”.
Mandi joined the Milestone Therapy Team in 2013. Since then, she has worn several different hats in regard to roles and responsibilities. The most recent change in 2024, was being promoted to Medical Services Manager for PT/DT. In her free time, she loves cooking, working out, being in nature, and spending time with family and friends.
