Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA)
Sumaieh attended Fox College where she completed the Occupational Therapy Assistant Program in May of 2022. She obtained her Associate’s Degree in Applied Science. Sumaieh is thrilled to be a part of the Milestone team. Her love for pediatrics grew during her fieldwork experience. Soon after graduation, she kick-started her career in outpatient pediatrics and early intervention!
She was able to be an advocate for Arabic-speaking families. She translated for them to ensure families understand what Occupational Therapy is and why it is important. Sumaieh believes every single child deserves unconditional acceptance and opportunities to grow. During her free time, Sumaieh enjoys spending time with family and friends, especially her one and only nephew!
