We are currently offering an endlessly rewarding opportunity for a Full or Part Time Pediatric Early Intervention Physical Therapist to join our home therapy team in Illinois!

The Early Intervention Physical Therapist’s primary responsibility is to plan and administer medically prescribed physical therapy treatment for patients suffering from injuries or muscle, nerve, joint and bone diseases in order to restore function, relieve pain, and prevent disability.

Who Qualifies for Early Intervention Physical Therapist:

IL Licensed Physical Therapist (2+ years in pediatrics preferred)
Active IL Early Intervention Credentials (or willingness to obtain)

We are currently seeking a full or part-time Occupational Therapist for Early Intervention who is inspired to work with the pediatric population to provide home-based services with our home therapy team in  Illinois.
In this position, Occupational Therapist for Early Intervention, you are given the independence and flexibility to set your own schedule but still have a team to support you. Milestone Therapy is a multidisciplinary (Physical, Occupational, Speech, ABA) Pediatric Therapy Provider that utilizes Evidence-Based Best Practices in each setting we offer services in – Outpatient Clinics, Schools, and the Patient’s Home. Milestone’s structure is centered around accountability, communication, collective problem-solving, and more!
The essential functions for Occupational Therapist for Early Intervention include, but are not limited to the following:
  • Complete detailed, accurate and timely documentation of evaluations, re-evaluations, progress reports, discharge summaries and daily treatments
  • Plan and prepare written treatment programs based on evaluation of client data and feedback from caregivers
  • Ability to adapt and modify therapeutic interventions to meet the unique needs and preferences of each client
  • Educate and train parents/caregivers on home programs and activities to support the client’s therapeutic goals
  • Administer, score and interpret standardized fine motor and sensory assessments
  • Maintain collaborative and positive working relationships with other IFSP team members, community resources, referral sources, agencies and colleagues
  • Provide supervision to Occupational Therapy Assistants within rules and regulations outlined by state practice guidelines and/or guidelines of the Illinois Early Intervention program (when eligible)
