Intake and Early Intervention Liaison

Growing up with a cousin who has Down syndrome, Mandi was always fascinated by the special needs population. She became involved with the Illinois Early Intervention Program in 2006 after graduating from Illinois State University with a degree in Psychology. Mandi’s Service Coordinator position in the Illinois Early Intervention program was a perfect first step in her career, providing her a role that taught her many useful skills for the both the professional and special needs world. Mandi states, “On a personal side, it made me feel I was actually making a small difference in the families’ lives on my caseload. Seeing the children meet their milestones after therapy was my biggest reward”.

After seven years with EI and servicing thousands of families along the way, she knew she was ready for a change. When the opportunity presented itself, it made perfect sense to take on the role of Birth to Three Intake and Audit Coordinator with Milestone Therapy, a position that would allow her to keep helping families as well as offer opportunities to further develop her exceptional professional talents.
